Spent the day touring the northern
The north shore is dotted with little lighthouses, of which Brett took many photos. It is also apparently littered with wrecked ships. I’m assuming the lighthouses were added after the wrecks. We also decided to rough it for one more night while we checked out the Stanhope Beach Resort, a remodeled version of an 1800’s beach resort.
There are wonderful photos and antique furniture throughout the inn. It’s very windy and stormy out at the moment, so we’re happily enjoying a hot cup of tea and feeding our internet addiction.

It looks like you got an XTerra - you copy cats! How's it for traveling long distances? I'm only able to go in circles here on the island!
Update here: Jen accepted a new position as Senior Project Manager w/ HMSA (my healthcare company!) She's a little scared since these guys are much more business-oriented than AlohaCare, but I think she's been dying for more structure in her job. It certainly pays a lot better. With her new salary, we're in the market for a new XTerra - one w/ solid gold rims and those cool hubcaps that spin even when the car is stopped. We're on our way, baby!
